Prior to beginning his private practice, Jon served as legal counsel for Volvo Commercial Finance LLC. The Americas where he practiced in secured transactions, commercial finance and litigation management.

Jon also served as corporate counsel for First National Bank of Evergreen Park. As an attorney with Evergreen Bank, Jon was responsible for documenting and negotiating various financing transactions with profit and not for profit organizations, including congregations, as they sought to expand their ministries.

Previously, as a Gift Planning Counselor with the LCMS Foundation, Jon assisted individuals making gifts to various ministries of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod through both direct gifting and estate planning. Jon began a private practice serving businesses, individuals and not-for-profit organizations in Northern Illinois in April of 2002.

Jon is admitted to practice in Illinois and Minnesota. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Elmhurst College and Juris Doctor Degree from The John Marshall Law School.
